The Kidron Valley is also known as the Valley of Decision and the Valley of Jehoshaphat in the book of Joel.  It is here where the nations are gathered for the final judgment. At the Kidron Valley there will be an escape route for Jews in the last days.

This event is detailed in the book of Joel the Third Chapter, Zechariah and Jesus also refer to this event.  In the last days, as the nations gather to Jerusalem. God is going to split open the Mount of Olives at the Kidron Valley and create an escape route for Jews following the Abomination of Desolation (Matthew 24:15).
